The Ghent-based practice of Marie-José Van Hee is characterised by buildings that blend in with their environment as if they have always been there, evoking reflection, serenity, and silence in a kind of spatial poetry. Van Hee works almost exclusively in Flanders, and this issue features eighteen of her designs, along with essays by Sam De Vocht, Sylvia Van Peteghem, and Hera Van Sande.
